Oscoda Area United Way continues to support our community!

A $300 donation was made to the Emmanuel Mission (homeless shelter) to support the work they do in our community. In addition to the funds allocated to many of the community non-profits through the annual campaign, the Oscoda Area United Way is also committed to providing additional support. The Board designates a non-profit organization at each of its meetings to be given additional financial support. If you are interested in joining our Board and being a part of an organization that focuses on supporting non-profit organizations that support our community, please contact us at oscodaunitedway@gmail.com

The Emmanuel Mission lives by the motto, God in Christ with Man Dwelling; Making Christ Visible. The Emmanuel Mission serves a five county area in Northeastern Michigan. The Emmanuel Mission is an Emergency Homeless Shelter, offering those without adequate housing a place to sleep and an address use for up to 90 days. During this time they assist their guests in locating assistance and making changes that will result in a more stable life.
